May Your Spirits Be Bright

Hi! Today I decided to start making Christmas cards for the upcoming season. I used several die cuts to make this winter scene.

The sentiment is from Verve stamps and I used navy blue ink and embossing powder to match the paper. The paper is park of a new collection called Cabin Fever.

I layered lots of snow trees together. Some are form Sizzix and some are from Impression Obsession.

The deers are also from Impression Obsession. The hillside are from Lawn fawn. One of my favs from them. I layered two stitched circles together with pop dots behind the smaller one. The snow grass is from Cheery Lynn Designs.

Happy Birthday Monster

Hello! Today I was playing in my scrap room since I have a 4 day weekend! Yay! I received these adorable little monsters as part of the free goodies from scrapbook.com. I rarely make boy cards but I thought these guys are perfect for a birthday card. I was inspired to use them today from

All boys love slimy things too! So the Martha Stewart punch was perfect.  The sentiment is a die cut from Lawn Fawn. The balloons, present and the clouds are from Cheery Lynn Designs....last but not least are the adorable monsters from Doodlebug.

The patterned paper is from Recollections and I added some bling, sequins and a stamp from
Stamps By Judith

So Grateful For You

Hi! Im back today sharing a new autumn card inspired by the colors this week at
Color Showdown #466. The colors are fabulous! I usually never mixed 3 colors together unless they are neutrals...so this card was a bit of a challenge.

I used Cheery Lynn Designs and Lawn Fawn die cuts with a beautiful sentiment from Verve.

I stamped the sentiment in white ink and added bling to the top and bottom corners.

The beautiful color scheme...

Fright

Hello again!
Today I'm sharing another Halloween card using lots of die cuts. It was inspired by the
Color Throwdown #465. I had just made a card the day before with the same colors....lol
Here is the previous card.

I thought about using some patterned paper but then I decided to use some scrap purple paper. I die cut the puffy clouds with Lawn Fawn and the same with the hillside. The tree, bats, ghosts and moon are all from Cheery Lynn Designs. The amazing "fright" is from Sizzix.

Of course I had to add some pop dots....

Let It Snow With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi! Is it snowing yet by you? Well here in the valley of the sun it is just beginning to cool down...meaning 80's....lol Today I wanted to share another new card using some more fabulous die cuts from Cheery Lynn Designs

I die cut foam with "let it snow" so it pops off the card. The "wreath" I die cut once in green. I thought about cutting it out again but I thought it speaks for itself.

The "icicles" and "winter neighborhood border" I added some liquid appliqué to give it a realistic snow look.

Thanks again for stopping by today.
Have a great week.

Hi! Welcome back to my blog with my latest card for my stash. I have been making lots of cute Halloween and Christmas cards, but I do love the creepiness of a Halloween card too.
This card was made using a couple Black Widow Spiders from Cheery Lynn Designs.

The paper is from Martha Stewart from a Halloween collection that I bought years ago because it was so creepy. I used lots of red paper to match the black widow trade mark. The ribbon was given to me by Julee from Verve. Thank you!

The spiderweb and boo are from Sizzix newest Halloween collection by Tim Holtz. The inside dripping are from Martha Stewart...love how it looks like blood....perfect!

The roses are from Recollections and I distressed the edges of the papers.
The black swirls are from Memory Box.

Hope you enjoyed!

"Baby Its Cold Outside" Blog Hop With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi! Welcome back to another fun Blog Hop with Cheery Lynn Designs! This month our theme is "Baby, It's Cold Outside" If your coming from Julie's Blog you are in the right place. Well here in AZ the weather is finally breaking into our autumn. So that means no more air conditioning! lol
However, I do remember the midwest weather this time of the year....cool then one last spell of indian summer....then COLD!

Here is my very first bendy card....I have made some since then and the posts are prior to this one...
Lots and Lots of Cheery Lynn Designs die cuts.

I chose white, black, silver, blue, and purple for my colors. The colors are cool to me.

I added gala glitz to the centers of the "poinsettias" with silver "holly leaves". I used a glitter pen on the sentiment to give it a bit of shine. I die cut out several "Christmas Trees" in white and made a couple of "presents" with silver and purple.

I made 2 "patches the snowman's" and one is male and one is female. I also die cut out to "colonial posts" with silver lights.

The large "stitched circle" was cut out twice for more support for the moon. I placed "santa's sleigh and reindeer" across the circle.

On the back...I added some icicles....

Thanks for stopping by today! Next on your hop is Cherry's Blog.

Autumn Greetings

Hello again! Twice in a day...been on a roll with Autumn and Halloween cards lately. There are so many inspirational blogs that have been keeping my Mojo going.
This card made a few minutes ago was inspired by the Color Throwdown #464
The colors are orange, taupe and black.

I used several companies for this card...Verve stamps, Lawn Fawn leaves and hillside, Cuttlebug embossing plate, Martha Stewart punch and Cheery Lynn Designs die cuts.

I tend to make similar insides so I can add a gift card and lots of room for my personal greeting.

I love the details of the wood background and the details in the leaves.

A cute little squirrel and some orange bling throughout.

Thanks for stopping by again today!

Frankie's Flowers

Good Morning!
Happy Sunday!
Today, I'm on call again...just waiting around so why not make some new fun Halloween cards. This Frankenstein card was inspired by the new Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #427
Monsters! I have this Frankenstein die cut from Cheery Lynn Designs...it is a cutie and I added the Halloween Border to the bottom, which is also from Cheery Lynn Designs.

I started out wanting to make it cute...but then it took a turn to flowers...and then some creepy glittery green spiders...oh my! I always tend to go for my google eyes...I actually used 2 different sizes...fun.

The paper is from Pebbles "Midnight Haunting" I just love the spiders. The spider web and leaves die cut are from Cheery Lynn Designs and the black flowers are from Pink Paisley "Phantom" I bought years ago...

The green spiders and green flowers are from Recollections...Never get tired of their products...

I stamped the "Boo To You" sentiment in black ink and fussy cut it out...It was the smallest sentiment I could find to fit on the 5 x 6 card! LOL

The adorable cupcakes!

Peppermint Christmas

Hi everyone! Im back with a new fun card for the upcoming holidays!
I have found my Mojo this month...so I figured I better keep creating for a while....lol
This card was inspired by a sketch over at scrapbook.com....the squares were on top of each other but I moved mine off center.

The last autumn card I made I used some stickers. So I thought I would add some more on this card....Im not sure why I have been hoarding them for so long but they are coming out again! Yay!

I used Cheery Lynn Designs Die Cuts for the stitched squares, the icicles and the sentiments.

All the candies and candy canes are stickers.

Thanks for stopping by today...

Autumn Greetings

Hello again!
Im sharing today a fast and fun card for the upcoming autumn/fall season.
This card was inspired by a photo over at scrapbook.com It had pumpkins and a scarecrow in the photo. It also has some sunflowers and a bit ole turkey.

When I was trying to look for a scarecrow...I could only find a cute one on my cricut.
But then I thought I think I have some stickers from years ago....I was right!

The grass, the birch tree and the pierced moon with the sentiment are die cuts from Cheery Lynn Designs. The patterned paper is from Echo Park "A Perfect Autumn" I added some orange ribbon in the center. The sentiment is from Verve in brown ink.
