Happy Halloween! Cheery Lynn Designs Fall & Winter Blog Hop

Hi everyone! Welcome back to a new Blog Hop with Cheery Lynn Designs
If you are coming from Julie's Blog you are ion the right place.
Today Im going to share with you a fun new A2 Center Step Card using a couple of the new die cuts and a few older die cuts all centered around Halloween.

Now I know it is still August....but it gives you plenty of time to get ready for those spooky cards that before you know it will be here! Boo!

I'm in love with the new "twisted tree"! It is really beautiful with all the curls!
The "ghosts and Happy Halloween"  are also a great new die cut. More swirls in the sentiment and the perfect size ghosts for the trees.

I added some extra "bats" and a "moon" on the back of the steps. I felt like the patterned paper needed a little extra something....so I added the "gate". Of course I had to add a few pop dots behind the ravens, bats and ghosts.

Elegance with Lisa Blastick

Hi everyone! Welcome back to a new card for Cheery Lynn Designs using several of the new
Vintage release! Have you ever imagined a card in your mind and well.....it doesn't quite come out the way you imagined? Well Ta Da!

I was trying to go for a vintage/ breakfast at tiffany's look....lol
I do love all the new vintage die cuts. As always they are so detailed! I added some pearls and sequins around the card to give it a little bling. The quote was found on the internet and I just used 2 different fonts on the computer.

Hope you enjoyed!
Have a great day!

King Tut

Hi! Sharing with you today a card that I made for a co-worker's friend birthday.
He loves Egypt items, gold and maroon colors. So I focused it all around those things.
I didn't have any Egyptian papers so I ordered the background paper from scrapbook.com.

I made 3 triangles to represent the pyramids and I used a brick die cut from cheery lynn designs on top. The 2 images were printed form the computer. I added gold glitter on King Tut and on the chipboard.

The beetle has some red bling that you would probably find years ago in the pyramids.
(My sons idea)

Hope you enjoyed!
I know he loved the card....

Happy Birthday!

Hi! Can you believe Im back 2 days in a row??? lol I have been taking most of the summer off to enjoy some vacations...Especially the month of July. It is always a busy month with birthdays, our anniversary and vacation. Now it is August and even though I don't have any school age children...guess it will be back to work...

This card was made for my Best Friend and I mailed it out to her last week. Her birthday was yesterday and my Mother's Birthday is today! Happy Birthday to you!

I added some new Cheery Lynn Banner and an old Horizon Banner. The heart is from Our Daily Bread and the flowers are a combination of Recollections and Prima. The leaves are from Cheery Lynn Designs, Rose.

I added little leftover pearls and distressed the edges. I decided to curl up two ends to show the other side of the paper. The paper is from SEI. So beautiful!!!

Bird Cage Tea Light With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi! Welcome back with a new project using Cheery Lynn Designs. I wanted to make a 3D Bird Cage Tea Light using the new "decorative bird cage"  It is really very beautiful with amazing details. I die cut out the bird cage 4 times and glued it together. The little door opens up too.

I used "miniature roses" and one of my favorite "flourish #13" on the sides and on top.

I added one bird from "bird bath" but you could add as many as you like. The tea light fits perfectly in the center. Great for wedding, baby shower or any special occasion.

Two more roses on top...I tied the tops together with pink ribbon.
