Have A Holly Jolly Christmas

Hello, Glad you could stop by today!
Today Im sharing another new card inspired by this month's Viva La Verve#2 November sketch.
Once again amazing layers! I recently purchased the new release from Verve. Love the adorable snowman and the cute saying.  It takes me back to "Frosty The Snowman" and Burl Ives singing "Holly Jolly Christmas" with Rudolph as a young child. Classic Christmas movies and music that still are enjoyed today. Love it!

I switched up the flag banner a bit because I wanted to use the patterned papers I already cut up. So I layered the two banners together. Black and White don't seen to be a normal Christmas theme but I thought I would change it up a bit since I normally use lots of greens and reds.

I used the stripped twine on the top for a perfect fun touch.

The beautiful sketch! Thanks!

Have a great day!
Hoping to make some more Christmas cards for this season real soon!

For You!

Hi everyone!
Happy Black Friday!
Anyone staying home and making cards instead of shopping? Well, I decided that was going to be my plan today instead of fighting crowds. Many years ago I had shopped on Black Friday, Yes actual FRIDAY! Now it is on Thursday Thanksgiving Day. Makes me  saddened because I feel it ruins the holiday and the reason we should be Thankful for what we have already.
Ok Im done complaining.
Here is a card made using this week's Mojo Monday #475 sketch. I love all the layers that comes with each sketch every week. I seen the snowflake and new I needed to make a Christmas card.

The paper is from Lawn Fawn and it makes matching everything up easy. I used Cheery Lynn Designs dies for the snowflake, the banner and the stitched rectangle.

I couldn't help myself I had to add pearls on the snowflake and for a swirl of snow.

Here is the great sketch! Thank you

Have a great day!
Don't spend too much because Cyber Monday is right around the corner!

Christmas Village With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hello!
Today, I'm sharing with you a new card for Cheery Lynn Designs. I can not believe I have not made anything new for over a month! I was in wedding mode for my daughter trying to get ready for her big day which was this past November 5, 2016....
Now I'm finally getting back my Mojo that I felt like it disappeared for a while....
Here is a Christmas scene that I had fun making yesterday.

The "winter neighborhood border" was layered twice in kraft and white. I then stamped the sentiment in black ink. The green trees with pearls are part of the new die cuts "tree shaker" I used two different holly's. Small holly from "Christmas bell" and and small holly from "holly leaves"

There is one "poinsettia" in the center with a pearl. Two "colonial lamp posts" on each side just seemed like it fit in the scene. All the stitching on the white cardstock is from the "rectangle stitch and cut tool" Love the look! Tiny doves were stamped and fussy cut out. There is some Green ribbon across the top. Also pearls for the berry's and a swirl of snow...

Beautiful Heart Shaker Card With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi! Welcome back to another fun shaker card for Cheery Lynn Designs. The new "Heart Shaker Card Kit" is a definite must have in your collection. There are so many occasions you can use this die cut. I cut the die cut out on two different papers and kept the insides of the center to make an extra heart. No wasting papers or foam here.

The "sweetheart frame" is in the background and I free handed black dots and stitches to match the sentiment in black ink. Pretty easy and fast to make.

I added a tiny black bow and sequins in the shaker heart.

Give Thanks With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi! I hope you had a good time Blog Hopping yesterday with Cheery Lynn Designs
I'm sure there is still time to hop so be sure to check it out!
Meanwhile, today I'm sharing with you a card for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. I have been making several cards with yellows, oranges and kraft so I thought I would remove the orange this time. The stamp image was colored with copic markers and then I chose the papers...it was die cut out with "pierced circles"

I stamped a sentiment with embossing ink and used white embossing powder onthe "horizon fishtail banner" It is my go to die cut for many projects. I made the "daisy strip" flowers using all of them for the larger flower and then using the 4 smaller flowers for the smaller flower. The inside was made using the "black eyed susan strip" cut in half for both flower centers. I used the smaller of the leaves from "flourish #14" and in the background the beautiful "cape cod" doily

You can see here the "old brick" embossing folder. Love it!

This card was inspired by my daughter's upcoming wedding on November 5, 2016
Im soooo excited for them and can not believe it is finally here!

I added some paper bows called "pretty pretty bows" with some pearls.
I also added "roses" and "flourish" The background was embossed and the sentiment is an older stamp set that went along with my theme.

Here you can see the tiny metal shakers inside.

More pearls for the popping of the champagne bottles!
