Just A Little Note With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi everyone! Today 'm sharing with you a new card using some of the new release with Cheery Lynn Designs. The beautiful "Quarterfoil Frame #2" is the background in white cardstock. I was thinking it is like an elegant lattice. So I wanted to use papers that were soft and elegant.

The flowers and leaves/ ferns were die cut using the f"loral bouquet kit" In the centers of the flowers I used gala glitz in pink. On the shite sprays I placed some white flower soft. Kind of looks like q-tips! lol

The sentiment was stamped in pink distressing ink and then fussy cut out.
Love the sentiment in a wave...

The "dandelions" were die cut in white and distressed with the pink ink.
Then there is a bit of sparkle using a glitter pen.

Three Cheers To the Red, White and Blue!

Hi Happy Father's Day  to all you dad's out there! Welcome to the Summer Coffee Blog Hop
I somehow missed the first day, but this morning I was able to put together this card using the beautiful digi "Three Cheers" stamps from Verve! Thank you so much Julee!
I love the 4th of July! It is my favorite holiday of the year and the combination of the adorable patriotic coffee cups, sentiment and the fabulous "coffee"die cut ( I already owned)  it came together quickly!

The card is based off a sketch from My Favorite Things #285 The DT had a n amazing fringe die cut that is now on my wish list! Meanwhile, I used the striped red and white paper to follow my theme. I added some bling for the feeling of fireworks....and a little glitter to the top of the coffee cups.

Here are the coffee cups...mine are printed at .8 x 1.5 inches, then colored with copic markers.

Here is the free digi "Three Cheers" from Verve...until June 30, 2016. Than you again!

Here is the awesome sketch! Thank you!

Happiness...

Hello everyone! Happy Saturday!
Today Im sharing with you a new card inspired by a few challenges. The Viva La Verve June 2016 sketch and the Cupcake Inspirations #364. Im also entering this card in some other challenges too.

So, I thought I would bring out my old Heartfelt Creations stamps and die cuts. "The daisies and leaves" I haven't stamped in the while and I forgot how really beautiful they look! In the centers of the flowers I used some gala glitz.

The Horizon Fishtail Banners are one of my favorite die cuts from Cheery Lynn Designs. The black frame is from Spellbinders and the sentiment is from Verve stamps.

The patterned paper is part of Colorbok that I bought from Walmart recently for 5 dollars! There are 50 pieces of cardstock....so I thought it was an amazing steal! lol

From "Owl" Home To Yours "Blog Hop" New Whimsical Release with Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi everyone! Welcome to this month's New Release with Cheery Lynn Designs. It is called Whimsical and there are several fun die cuts. If you are coming from Julie's Blog then you are in the right spot, otherwise you can start over at Cheery Lynn Designs Blog.

Today Im using 2 of the New Release dies, Whimsical Treehouse and Whimsical Owl. There are several older dies used for this project too.

The Treehouse has several layers and several pop dots. There is flower soft on the tree and on the grass border. Rarely do I use flower soft, so I figured this would be one good reason to use that stash that Im hoarding! lol The sentiment was printed up on the computer and then die cut with smallest horizon fishtail banner.

A closer view of the treehouse. Such intricate, beautiful details on the wood.

A closer view of the owl and some flowers made using  sweet christine and flourish #13

I added a little green bow to the owl and of course some wiggly eye.

Hello Friend With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hello friends! Today I have a really Clean and Simple card for you to make using one Cheery Lynn Designs Die! It is part of the May 2016 New Release called "Cherry Blossom Branch" It's Beautiful! If there is one die cut that you want in your collection...it is for sure this one....
I tend to add lots of layers to many of my cards and of course I'm a pop dot addict. However, I also think that Clean and Simple cards are beautiful too!

The die was cut 4 times, twice in green and twice in red. Then fussy cut out the red flowers and glue on top of the green. add pearls and your done! The sentiment was stamped in the corner. It is super flat except for the pearls but it should be easy to mail. Takes about 5 minutes to make. :)

Here you can see a close up the intricate details in the flowers and the leaves.  I layered red cardstock and a patterned paper underneath for more color, but it also looks great plain.

I LOVE red! and this is the cover of the die cut that inspired me to make this card today.

The Sea is Calling...

Hi TGIF!
Today I'm sharing with you a new card that I made this morning using more of the Graphic 45 "Voyage Beneath The Sea" These papers are truly stunning! So colorful and vibrant! This is a 5 x 6 inch card and I did a bit of fussy cutting of the mermaid and the starfish and shell. This card was also inspired y my latest project using the same line of papers. You can see it HERE.

The flowers were pre made and it was part of a huge bunch that I found at yard sale at a local scrapbook store. I also added some pop dots and white pearls. I love the sentiment of "The Sea is calling and I must Go" especially this time of the year here in Arizona! Think it is only 100! LOL

Another closer view....It is layered, but not too bulky to not be mailed out.

It's Wine O'clock Somewhere!

Hello everyone! Today, Im sharing today a new card made for this month's Mojo Monday #451 Contest. When I seen the sketch, I thought of a clock in the corner and using the "wine O'clock" stamp in the other corner. I found the stamp at Micheal's dollar bin. Woo hoo! This card was made using all scrap papers from Martha Stewart which I have had for years.

The whole theme was inspired by my girlfriend. We LOVE wine and try to have a girl's date every week. She will be leaving for the summer soon and I will miss her and our dates.

The clock and the banner dies are  from Cheery Lynn Designs. There is a tiny brad in the center of the clock if you want to move the time handles. The wine glasses are from a stamp set and I colored them with topic marker to match the paper.  The bling is from Zva, I usually purchase them in bulk from Heartfelt Creations.

Here is the great sketch for this week!
Thanks again Julee!

Out To Sea

Ahoy!
Yes I know it is still Sunday, but I was able to make one more card for June Viva La Verve.
As many of you may have noticed that I truly love everything about the water and this nautical card was super fast to make because of the patterned papers from DCWV.

The cute little anchor is a die cut from Verve Nautical Die Set and I fussy cut around it in cream yardstick to make it pop out a bit more. Then I added some string behind the two pieces of cardstock with a tiny bow on top of the anchor.

A few layers of pop dots and it is all done!

The great sketch! Thanks again Julee!

Have a great evening and a great week!

Time To Celebrate with Mojo Monday

Hi Happy Sunday!
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. My daughter came home this past Wednesday and we have been spending a lot of time together. So I haven't had much time to craft. However, this morning I squeezed in this fun card using this week's Mojo Monday #450 sketch.

I love the 4th of July! So this sketch I had to use my favorite patriotic colors. These papers are from Graphic 45 called Mother Goose. I recently acquired these from my local scrapbooking convention. It was part of a goodie bag that had lots of great crafting products.

The stamped sentiment is from Verve Stamps called Big Wish. The Pierced Stars are from Cheery Lynn Designs.  Along the edge I used a Martha  Stewart Punch.

I added a few pop dots behind the flag, stars and sentiment. Can you believe no ribbon or flowers?
Whoa!!! lol

Here is the great sketch! Thank you!

Have a great week!

Thank You for your Service With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hello!
Today, I'm sharing with you a fun patriotic card inspired by the homecoming of my nephew from Iraq. He was stationed there for 9 months and I'm so glad he is back safely in the United States with his family. I wanted to make this card clean and simple for you to send to your loved ones or just a thank you to all the men and women fighting for our freedom.

There are only 2 dies used and it only takes minutes to make. I used the largest "banner" in blue and then die cut out 5 of the smallest "banners" in red. The card is 5 x 6 and I distressed another piece of white cardstock at 4.5 x 5.5 inches.  There are pop dots behind the distressed piece of cardstock but you can place it flat too. The sentiment was printed on the computer. I just fussy cut the flag ends. It is an Army font, since that is my nephew's branch of service.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed!
