The Poinsettia's have amazing details and layer so wonderfully! I added a bit of white Gala Glitz in the centers.

Here you can see how fluffy the flowers pop off the card. I added some pop dots behind the sentiment.
The background "Mexican Tile Pattern" is perfect with the poinsettia's.

Christmas Tags With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi everyone! It's Lisa sharing some Christmas Tags I made for Cheery Lynn Designs. It was inspired by this week's challenge "Tag Your It" Since it is already second part of November, I figured for sure it is time to make some cute tags for your Christmas packages. These tags are really easy to make too. The base of the three tags, I used "Pierced Stacker #2" I layered it twice using the second and the third largest dies. Then I just played with other dies to embellish.

Here I used "Snowflowers Set 2" and some stamped doves. I stamped the sentiment on the second smallest "Pierced Stacker #2"

Next, I used a "Gingerbread Man" from the "Gingerbread Family", I added some wiggly eyes and placed red cardstock in the back for the buttons. The patterned paper I used "Horizon Fishtail Banner" and stamped on another "Pierced Stacker #2" for the sentiment. I also stamped and fussy cut out the bells.

Last, but not least, I stamped the sentiment on "Horizon Fishtail Banners" Die cut out two candy canes from "Gingerbread House" and die cut out "Christmas Lights Swag" I stamped and fussy cut out a two layered poinsettia.

Merry Christmas From Arizona To Iraq

Hi, Just sharing a new card that I mailed to my nephew in Iraq for Christmas with a huge box of goodies from home. I know he will enjoy it and I know it will be hard to be away from the family though the holiday too! Big Hugs!!!
Since I live in AZ thought I would send this card stamped with a christmas cactus made by Great Impressions. The sentiment and stitched hillside are from Lawn Fawn.

I kept it pretty basic since it is going to a guy...no flowers or bling. I distressed the edges and the ovals are from Spellbinders. I colored the image with copic markers and added some Liquid Applique for a bit of snow.

A bit of embossing in the background for snow.

Package #1 I even put a small Christmas Tree in there.... Lots of Yummy goodies

Package #2...I thought I would be able to fit it all in one box....not....some extras

Thanks for stopping by!
Please send good wishes and a safe holiday for my nephew! I appreciate them!
Thanks so much!

Hi everyone!
Welcome back to a new inspirational photo with The Shabby Tea Room! This week's inspiration is called "O' Christmas Tree" and it is sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps

I love the Christmas Tree Row and knew I had to have it! I used pinks and greens to go along with the theme. Super fun digital image and I used my Lawn Fawn sentiment.

I also used Cheery Lynn scalloped frames and spellbinders christmas trees that I found for $10 at the convention last spring.

I finished the card with ribbons and pink pearls on the trees.

Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to check out more inspiration from our DT at The Shabby Tea Room. Use the inspirational photo or your chance to win some digital images from Bugaboo too!

Tom the Turkey Table Decorations With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi everyone! It's Lisa back today sharing a new project and video tutorial on my Tom the Turkey Table Decorations for Cheery Lynn Designs. I wanted to make some cute little turkeys for my table this upcoming Thanksgiving. My brother has five children and I thought they would like them on their plates and then they can take them home. They are about 4 inches tall and 3 inches wide. Super easy to make and it gives your Thanksgiving table a bit of color. These were also inspired by this week's challenge "Autumn Colors"

The papers I used are only one sided patterned papers for my rosettes/feathers, but you can use double sided patterned papers to give your turkey a more fuller feathered look. I also added little wiggly eyes on the kraft turkey head, just to make them more playful for the children.

Here you can see the Tom the Turkey's from looking down...They really are fun to make....
Here is the quick video tutorial on how I made them:
Thanks for watching!

Harvest Blessings

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing a new card that was inspired by using two different colors that you usually don't see together very often. Green and Purples.... I originally was going to make the video tutorial for the pine cones but somehow they didn't make it to this card. lol So I added some flowers and bling to the sides of sentiment.

The pine leaves and the stacker #2 are from Cheery Lynn Designs. I used my Distrezz It All for all the edges of the papers.

Under the bottom stacker is a piece of burlap then...Between the stackers, I added pop dots. This card came together really quick too! Love when that happens!

Give Thanks With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi everyone! Its Lisa back with a new card for Cheery Lynn Designs. This week's challenge is "Give Thanks", so I thought I would make a autumn themed card using both sets of the "Small Leaves"So many leaves to choose from and so many different sizes. There are also acorns and I just used kraft cardstock and then colored the top with a copic marker.

When I think of autumn, I think of the leaves and the crisp fresh air. So I added some bling to represent the wind. The sentiment was stamped on "Bottles" and I added more bling to the tops. Last I added a bow to match the kraft cardstock.

Home Sweet Home

Hi!
Today I'm sharing with you a new card that I made for the upcoming Mesa Stamping Card Contest here in AZ. The theme is birdhouses and I have two beautiful birdhouse stamps. They are both from Heartfelt Creations. This one I used has these beautiful flowers. The doves are also from Heartfelt Creations. So, as many of my followers may know already, I can't color too well. I went to the scrapbook expo recently and there was a lady there trying to help me copic blend. Well, needless to say I didn't do as well as I liked but I gave it a try.

They say that the inside of the card doesn't get displayed but I cant help myself...It feels incomplete if I don't add something. The sentiment was printed on the computer and chalked edges. The background frame and the leaves are from Cheery Lynn Designs.

I had this tiny round pearl sticker for a long time...it was the perfect size to go around the birdhouse opening. So Ironic!

Thanks for stopping by today and wish me luck!
Have a great day!

Baking Holiday Treats

Hi Happy Mojo Monday!
Can you believe it is already November? Wow! That means we are that much closer to Christmas. Less than 2 months away....So I wanted to make another holiday card before I get behind...
This card was inspired by this week's Mojo Monday contest #422. The papers I bought on clearance last year at Marshall's for $2.99 It is called "Home for Christmas" by Pebbles.

I used my spellbinders lacey circle for the sentiment, with tiny pearls along the edge. The sentiment and the tiny gingerbread man are from Technique Tuesday. The big gingerbread man is from Cheery Lynn Designs, gingerbread family.

I added some ribbon, a bow and some pearls to finish this holiday card.

Here is the sketch! Thx again Julee

Have a great week!

#263 Thankful With The Shabby Tea Room

Hi Happy Monday!
Well, this week's challenge with The Shabby Tea Room is Thankful. I'm thankful to have family around the whole holiday season. The wonderful inspirational photo places me in the Christmas spirit. This week's sponsor is from Great Expressions

Here is my interpretation of the photo. My husband loves the rustic burlap look for the holidays, so thought I would make a christmas card. I have this candle stamp from Verve and fussy cut it out. Added a little shimmer to the wicks and center of poinsettia. The sentiment is also from Verve.

I used one of my favorite Martha Stewart lace punch and then cut a piece of burlap to go in the center.

Love the soft colors and of course I had to add some white pearls! lol
The flower is from Petaloo. It was a perfect match to my burlap.

Herre is a closeup of the pinecones. I have been watching a few tutorials on how to make them. Finally I figured out a super easy way to make them fast....tutorial coming soon!

I am totally in LOVE with the Ornamental Fence!

My son helped me with the dimensions for the top of the haunted house. Thx son!

I kept the colors to the normal Halloween colors, Black, White, Grey, Orange and Green.

A peek inside....Simple but I plan on using photos on all the pieces inside.

Here is a super quick video too!
