Heartfelt Wednesday's

Hi, today I am sharing with you a new card made for Heartfelt Creations.
It is a gatefold card and it is similar to the one that is made with the "Layered Elegant Swirl" you can see that video here. However this card is a little bigger, so I will include the instructions below.
This card is using the "Layered Scalloped Posy" dies and many of the NEW collection called
I really loved the way this card came out, it truly is elegant and perfect for that someone special who would love a card like this one....it does take a bit longer than your standard card, but totally worth the ending result!

Here is a view of the inside....many times when I make a card for Heartfelt Creations I only make the outside, however for this card it was a total must to make the inside just as elegant as the outside.
I decided to only stamp on the center, so that if you wanted to have more space for journaling you could also do that on the sides.

Here is a view of it flat as you can see the flowers pop of the card....:)

Here are the full instructions on how I made my Gatefold Card:

The gatefold card closed measures 5.25 x 7 inches. First, cut pink cardstock 7 inches x 10.75 inches. Score at 2.25 inches and at 8 inches, fold to center. Place “Layered Scalloped Posy” Edge on the top in the center then line up edge with small “Layered Scalloped Posy” Edge, run it through grand calibur. Line up other small “Layered Scalloped Posy” Edge on opposite side and run it through grand calibur. Using exacto knife cut off excess. Front 2 panels in white cardstock measure 2.25 x 5.5 inches. Diecut both panels with “Layered Scalloped Posy” on the top.  Do the same for the inside 2 panels too. Stamp “Tattered Collage” half on the right and other half on the left. Color with copic markers. Stamp 4 smallest and 2 next size up of the “Tattered Blossoms”, Diecut with “Tattered Blossoms Die” Color with copic markers, add glitter gloss, fairy dust glitter and pearls in center. Place pop dots in between and place over colored flowers. Inside panel measures 4.25 x 6.5 inches, diecut like small panels and stamp “Tattered Blossoms Swirls”, color with copic markers and add pearls to center of flowers. Glue all pieces together. Stamp “Heartfelt Expressions” and diecut with “Labels 20” chalk edges in pink and add liquid pearls. Add pink ribbon around card and use clear zots in back to adhere to card base.

Heartfelt Wednesday's

Good Morning! Welcome back to another Heartfelt Wednesday
Finally, after almost the whole month has gone by I was able to make a scrapbooking layout for HC.
I have been super busy with my oldest daughter graduating from college and guests in town, that I was really under pressure and little time to make layouts.
This is a photo of Roxy and an old friend of hers from High School, can you believe my Roxy is a Junior in college now? Where did the time go???

Here is a close-up of the beautiful new flowers from Heartfelt Creations called "Tattered Blossoms"  dont forget to get the matching diecut "Tattered Blossoms" to make your flowers perfect!
I really love the details in the amazing flowers. I also used a stamp called "Broken Cinder Blocks" on the circles. I thought it went well with my patterned paper :)

The sentiment is from "Heartfelt Expressions" and I really love love love the font! You will too!

A Little "Bitty" Shabby

Hi! Today I wanted to share my tips of how I make my "Bitty Blossoms". They are easy and fast to make and are just awesome for any card or scrapbooking page. Lately, I have been redecorating my guest room in "shabby chic" so it has been on my mind a lot! Hence my latest scrapbooking page using lots of Donna's amazing products!

Here you can see how they really pop off the page.

I loved embossing the chipboard and making my own shabby cardboard circle....tutorial coming soon!
Here is all you need to make these fabulous "Bitty" Flowers:
Spellbinders- Bitty Blossoms
Wooden Skewer
Fine Tweezer

First, I diecut out in white one of the blossoms.

Here I used the wooden skewer to keep the center tight and perfectly round

Place glue on the center circle and use tweezers to hold down center...thats it!

It doesn't get any easier than that.... :)
Hope you give them a try soon...you will sure love em!
Have a wonderful day!

I really LOVE the sentiments from this month's "Old English Garden" set. This particular one is called "Heartfelt Expressions" the font is sooo elegant and there are so many wonderful sayings to choose from that it is truly one of those must haves.

You Are Amazing! ATC *Donna Salazar*

Hi, I wanted to share with you today my very FIRST ATC (Artist Trading Card)!
Let me tell you I was a bit scared about making one because I have seen so many beautiful cards made in the past...but it was soooo super easy and fast with Donna's products! Seriously!
I am so used to a giant 12 x 12 palette and I was thinking that there is NO WAY I can make a cute and fun ATC....gee was I totally wrong.....lol

Here is another look..looking straight at you!
I wanted my ATC to look like a pillow, so I added some cream vintage lace to the back of the
"Designer Embellies"

As you can see here it really has lots of dimension to this small ATC. Can you see the awesome "fairy dust"? Its completely over the "crown" and in spots over the "rose"...I really love it....it gives it a great sparkle to any project you make. :)

By just adding some small scraps of kraft cardstock, you can have an entire saying on this adorable 2.5 x 3.5 ATC. Super fast and super fun to give to your friends or scrapbooking pals.

Thanks for stopping by and all the lovely comments!
If you haven't tried one of these fun ATC's I totally recommend that you do!
Have fun!
xoxo
